As a kid, I asked my mother for science books so I could learn more about space. That kid never really left.
Today I shoot from Puerto Rico, under a Bortle 7 sky where streetlights wash out all but the brightest stars. A Dwarf 3, hours of stacked exposures, and a lot of patience bring the universe back into view.
If you shoot from a city too, you know the hard part isn’t just the capture. It’s bringing out what’s hidden in the data.
